Correcting the driver’s window on a 1998 Chevy Pickup

Wash the window. A simple solution of water and detergent is sufficient. Working with a clean surface is a critical step to correctly handle the repair. Sure to dry the window, before Step 2.

Remove broken glass from the window. Dig fragments, with the corner of a razor blade. Be sure to wear glasses and be careful not to cut.

Secure the stabilizer to the window. Place on the damage. Push the stabilizer down on it until you see and hear, suction between the glass and the suction cup.

Place the resin pipe inside the injector, injector and put into the injection port into the stabilizer.

Remove the injector, when in position. Note that the resin begins to be drawn into and out of the cracks.

Stabilizer takes window, when all the resin has been removed.

Place the film strip seasoning beyond repair. Do not remove the strip until the resin has hardened and cured. The hardening process can last up to a couple of hours.
