Hiding a crack in a windshield

A cracked windshield can produce glare that can affect your driving. The cracks in the windshield not only make your vehicle look bad, but can also be extended and result in large cracks and eventually a full windshield replacement. You can easily repair your cracked windshield in your home with some instruments.
Instructions
- Pour 1/4 cup water into the mixing bowl, then add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 and 1/2 insect repellent isopropyl alcohol. Stir the contents of the bowl until the salt is dissolved.
- Dip the cloth in the solution and rub against the crack. Follow wetting the cloth in the solution and rubbing it against the crack until the solution runs out.
- Let the windshield to dry for several hours. Isopropyl alcohol and insect repellent react together and soften the cover is plastic on the windshield glass. Then acts as filler salt in the mixture of isopropyl alcohol, and insect repellent. Once dry, it is as if there had never been a crack in the glass.
