Windshield cracks make your vehicle look bad and can cause glare, which adversely affects your driving. You can hide a crack with some simple fonts, but this is a temporary solution. It does not solve the structural problem, which must finally be addressed.
Explanation
- Pour 1/4 cup of water into mixing bowl. Then add a teaspoon of 1/2 each of salt, insect repellent and disinfectant alcohol. The contents of the vessel are stirred until the salt dissolves.
- Dip the cloth into solution and rub into the crack. Keep submerging the rag in the solution and rub in the crack until the entire solution is gone.
- Allow the windshield to dry for several hours. Disinfectant and insect repellent alcohol chemically react with each other to soften the plastic cover originally made on the glass windshield. The salt then acts as a temporary fill in the alcohol spray mixture and rubbing bug.
