When the windshield accumulates an unpleasant film, it can become dangerous to drive. You will not be able to see clearly in the windshield. A film buildup is also harder to remove since it has passed over time. Only water and soap can be used to lower it. However, there are ways to clean the film from the windshield so you can see it again.
Instructions
- Buy a box of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It will cost approximately $3.20. The film is placed on any surface, including the windshield. The best part of it is that you do not even have to scrub hard. Just wet the eraser and clean it through the windshield.
- Use Greased Lightning. Greased Lightning you can buy at any grocery store. All you have to do is spray it directly onto the film on the windshield. Let stand two minutes and then wipe with an old rag. You will need to clean your windshield with Windex later because the Greased Lightning leaves stripes.
- Consider using Bon-Ami, which is a cleaner that will remove the film on the car’s windshield. What makes Bon-Ami unique is that it is all natural and contains no strong chemicals. Once you clean the windshield film you will need to use some Windex to get the glass to shine.
- Pour friction alcohol onto the film on the windshield and allow it to stand for a few minutes. Grab an old rag and start rubbing the windshield in a circular motion. The movie will then upload. Wash the windshield with soap and water after the film is lifted. For a nice brightness use Windex.
- Buy a can of cola and pour on the film path. This is a cheap trick that works great. Give the cola a few minutes to eat away in the film and then wipe it with a rag. You will need to wipe the windshield with soap and water after this and finish with some Windex and paper towels.
